Book Club Questions

1. Here’s a prediction to start things off: A book club reads The Oracle Year  and absolutely loves it. Did this prediction come true? Why/why not?

2. What was your favorite prediction in the book?

3. If you were given 108 predictions, what would you do with them? Would you sell them, ignore them, use them for good, use them for evil, etc etc?

4. The story is told from multiple POVs. Who was your favorite character to follow and why?

5. What was your favorite chapter?

6. Did you enjoy the use of shifting perspective in this book? What would you do differently?

7. Charles is primarily a comic book writer. He said in an interview that he used his background to finish each chapter in a way that would make the reader want to keep reading (as you would in comics). Is there anywhere else in the novel where Charles’ background in comics shines through?

8. How did your opinion of Will change throughout the story?
